Since our ministry began in 2007, we’ve always felt it necessary to serve in and outside of our musical gifts. To this day, we continue follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as He calls us to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Over the years we have adopted and participated in different missional causes both locally and abroad. We’ve helped coordinate and have participated in multiple international short-term missions trips and have helped raise monetary support and awareness for many local and international causes. We were also instrumental in helping jumpstart a non-profit organization in our community that serves at-risk youth (tandemmentorship.org), and another non-profit organization that creates a faith-based art magazine for the incarcerated (thepenproject.org)

Currently, we focus a lot of our time on sharing the Gospel in prisons and at faith-based rehab centers. Along with these causes, we’re intentional about discerning and and meeting the needs of those who God puts in our path.

We have formed a lasting relationship with Prison Fellowship (Lansdowne, VA), and participate regularly in events at prisons throughout the midwest. Nearly 30% of all 513FREE events are prison outreach events.

Over the years we’ve had the opportunity to participate in many great outreach events. Stateside we’ve served in different capacities at rehab centers and homeless shelters. We’ve made two trips to Juarez, Mexico to help build homes. We travelled to Haiti in 2013 to help with construction of a church and to participate in other activities in the fishing village of Lozandier.
